American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Dunwoody is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dunwoody follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was ehh, but the portion size was fantastic as you can see and the service was wonderful! I'd go back just because of how good the server was, I would just try something else. French toast was okay, fruit was a yummy addition (which more restaurants should serve, so bravo to Goldbergs!) and sorry to say the bagel was so-so. It had a funny taste. I'm from New York State so I know a good bagel. I'd still recommend going and trying something different on their menu!

Thank you so much to the lovely woman that was working the take-out counter on a Sunday at noon at the Dunwoody location. She was amazingly friendly, kind, and efficient. The food was just as good as her service. She deserves recognition and a raise!! Thank you again for all that you do for the community; and thank you for an amazing lunch!!

Thought I’d give them another try … used to be so good. My bfast , well omelet was hard, overcooked. Bagel was … ok. Swapped potato pancakes for grits (and grits small but good). The check, 10.99 plus dollar for grits. ps I noticed on menu the prices were each 4.99. Now why aren’t they more crowded?

Huge portions, friendly staff, and good food. Sandwiches were stacked and delicious, did the Ruben egg rolls for an appetizer and they were really good but really greasy. Staff was friendly and service was fast, I don't think my drink ever got below half full.

Hands down the best breakfast and brunch in Atlanta for the price! I love a good diner, and Goldbergs delivers every single time. It’s light years ahead of J Christopher’s, White Hall, First Watch, you game it. Now you won’t get a fancy coffee or Instagram able photo, but you’ll get solid food. I’ve been eating here for years and genuinely crave it about every three weeks…it’s that good. You really can’t go wrong. Portions are generous especially for the price, service is consistently solid (though wait times can vary, it’s popular!), and with so many locations you can usually find one nearby. They’re also great about modifying cooking oils for those of us who prefer olive oil or other healthier options. My go-to is an omelette or the nova scramble, with home fries — big, crispy potato chunks with sautéed peppers and onions — plus a side of toast, English muffin, or bagel (or swap for salad or fruit). My husband swears by their latkes, too. Classic, satisfying, and a total win for brunch lovers.
